Roglic defends Vuelta overall tour
After the third section, which the Este had decided purely Taaramäe for himself, it was the second really heavy stage with this Vuelta.
In addition to Roglic in Enric Mas from Spain and the two Colombians Miguel Angel Lopez and Egan Bernal are some strong class elevators. Despite the strength of Roglic, everything still appears open after the first third of the tour, the distances are low. Rotated on Friday is Spain's Routinian Alejandro Valverde, who had to give up after a fall. Overall is now the Austrian Felix Grandschartner from the German Rennstall Bora-Hansgrohe, which lies only eight seconds behind Roglic.
On the way to Santiago de Compostela, where the Vuelta ends on 5 September with a single time trial, there are still six more heavy mountain stages. Especially the last week it has in itself. Roglic had already won the tour in the previous year when she took place coronabing until October and November.
